SunTrust Banks donated 10 HP Compaq 7700 computers, monitors and keyboards to The Center.
Randy Stephens, interim executive director of The Center, said the computers are in great condition and specific machines will be dedicated to HIV testing/support, individual/couples counseling and the library.
“This is another example of how our community is reaching out and forming partnerships with the local businesses in Central Florida,” Stephens said. “[The donation] reflects SunTrust’s commitment to diversity within the community and among its own employees.”
Stephens said The Center’s treasurer, Eric Paci, became aware of SunTrust’s surplus in computer equipment and submitted the request on behalf of The Center.
