The 12th Annual Sarasota Gay and Lesbian Film Festival will span two days, Aug. 21 and 22, at the Burns Court Cinema, according to the Sarasota Film Society.
Previous years the LGBT Film Celebration has showcased local directors and actors as well as national celebrities. It also runs mainstream movies.
As of press time, it is unclear who is programming the annual film celebration and how many films will be shown during the two-day event. It is expected, however, that many local filmmakers will be involved again this year.
