“An intense anticipation itself transforms possibility into reality; our desires being often but precursors of the things which we are capable of performing.” — Samuel Smiles
As you’re heading into your weekend, I’m sure the last word you want to hear is: Monday. Be that as it may, I wanted to give you a heads up on a special announcement that will be made on Scottie Saves the World this coming Monday, March 22, 2010. While I can’t reveal too many details just yet, I can tell you it is a contest and what you stand to win is big. Unlike some of the other contests we’ve had on WatermarkOnline where you leave a simple comment, this one is going to require a little thought, so be sure to rest your brain over the weekend and check back with me on Monday, okay?
In the meantime, I thought you might enjoy this video. It features Canadian environmental superhero David Suzuki. He has some easy, common — or maybe not so much so — sense things you can do to save energy, save cash, and make a difference in the world without even leaving your house.
Oh, and if you just can’t make it through the weekend without reading more of my scribbling, please take a look at my article on Orlando’s Hip Dog Hydrotherapy. I’m pretty proud of it!
