A winning original video can translate into a free ticket to the Winter Party Festival, Mar. 3-8. Videos can’t be longer than two minutes, should be uploaded to YouTube and the winners will be selected Feb. 19. Prizes range from a platinum pass to the festival to a Beach Party VIP ticket. Cruise company offers commitment ceremonies
Charter One in Fort Lauderdale now offers custom-tailored commitment ceremonies and other LGBT celebrations. Company co-owner Lauren Talchik said that while the State of Florida doesn’t recognize gay marriage, gay or lesbian couples should not refrain from celebrating their commitment to each other. She says the crew is gay-friendly and partners with local gay-owned vendors to create the shipboard events.
