Not that you'll really be able to tell a difference, but Logo announced this month that it was shifting its focus and will no longer be an “LGBT network.”
According to Queerty.com, a more pop-culture approach to broadcasting is evident in the network's 2012 lineup. But don't stress, RuPaul's Drag Race isn't going anywhere.
The new light up for this year include the canine makeover series Design My Dog and Wiseguys, which follows a straight mafia princess' adjustment to lie in L.A.
Also on the schedule are pop-culture countdown shows Scandalicious and Outrageous, and two family/relationship-oriented series, the tough-love therapy show Love Lockdown and The Baby Wait, which follows various couples through the open-adoption process.
If you don't see the pattern, this is the first time that Logo hasn't developed any new programming with gay leads. General manager Lisa Sherman told the site that the mission of the seven year old network hasn't changed, but that LGBT people are more prominent throughout the tv landscape, giving Logo more flexibility to reach a broader audience.
