Coldwell Banker Real Estate has ripped their ties to correspondent Dr. Robi Ludwig after her allegations that Santa Barbara’s mass shooter may have been fighting “homosexual impulses.”
According to their Facebook page, Coldwell Banker Real Estate parted ways with their lifestyle real estate correspondent after she made the comments on May 25 as a guest psychotherapist on Fox News.
“Dr. Robi’s comments on the tragedy in Santa Barbara do not represent the opinions of Coldwell Banker. Therefore at this time we feel it best to part ways with her as our lifestyle real estate correspondent,” Coldwell Banker Real Estate said in a Facebook post on May 27.
Information was released showing the frustration the Santa Barbara shooter, Elliot Rodger, felt towards women. He ranted about being ignored by women and never having sex. The shooter killed seven people, including himself. 13 others were hurt in the rampage.
During Fox News’ coverage of the shooting, they brought on Dr. Robi to learn exactly what was going on in the 16-year-old’s head. She told Fox News that she suspected Rodger was fighting “with homosexual impulses.”
“When I was first listening to him, I was like, ‘Oh, he’s angry with women for rejecting him,’” Ludwig said during the broadcast. “Then I started to have a different idea: ‘Is this somebody who is trying to fight against his homosexual impulses?’”
“Was he angry with women because they were taking away men from him?”
According to her website, Dr. Robi is a regular contributor to the Today Show, CNN, Fox News and various other reality and news shows.
