Did you know this whole Gay Days weekend, The (GLBT) Center executive director, Randy Stephens, has been registering couples via Orange County’s domestic partner registry?
It costs 18 bucks and Randy got notarized for the task.
Just a few couples have taken him up on it so far but the Expo is open till 4 p.m. today so if you have $18 and a committed partner, why not commemorate Gay Days 2013 with a certificate of registry? Even visitors can do it, and then when you come to Orlando for Gay Days 2014, you’re all covered for protections involving hospital and jail visitation rights, the authority to make necessary medical decisions and funeral arrangements, and the right to receive emergency ‘family’ notification.
