ORLANDO | The LGBT+ Center in Orlando, as well as its second location in Kissimmee, opened May 4 with limited hours and reduced services.
The Center Orlando will be open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Center Orlando will offer in-person HIV and Hep C testing from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the days that it’s open.
The Center Kissimmee will be open Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and will offer in-person HIV and Hep C testing Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 12-5 p.m. and Wednesday 12-8 p.m.
The Center Kissimmee will not open on Fridays and both Centers will continue to remain closed on the weekends.
Anyone visiting either of the LGBT+ Centers must wear a face mask before entering the building and will have a temperature check done at the door. All testing areas will be sanitized between each visit. Anyone who has been outside of the country within the last 14 days, had contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 or are experiencing symptoms will not be allowed to be tested.
The lobbies, libraries and cyber centers for each location will remain closed to the public until further notice. All in-person groups have been cancelled for the month of May. Online mental health counseling and virtual groups are available. Visit TheCenterOrlando.org for times and more information.
